Stallion Overview

As a broodmare owner, you have to ask whether the stallion you are about to support has the future potential (in the case of a new sire whose first foals are yet to race) or the current success rate (in the event that the stallion has progeny racing) to justify the expense incurred in not only service fee costs but also allied expenses incorporating such charges as transport to and from the stud, agistment costs, foaling fees, veterinary bills, worming treatment, farrier work - and so on. The daily agistment rates between different studs often show dramatic variations and it's these "extra costs" - (all borne by the broodmare owner) - that also have to be considered in the decision making process.

As an aid to assist you in the stallion selection process www.marematching.com.au will give you an unbiased and critical written appraisal of any commercially available stallion in Australia. This appraisal shall look at the quality of the stallions race track performance, strengths and weaknesses emanating from his sire line or dam line, whether his service fee is fair and reasonable given the competition in the market place and my opinion as to whether I feel he will make a successful sire or prove a disappointment. The written appraisal and a tax invoice will be returned to you within ten (10) days of receipt of request/payment.

Cost per stallion appraisal is $77 - inclusive of GST.

Cost per 4 stallions appraisal is $220 - inclusive of GST.

Cost for more than 4 stallions appraisal will be done on a quote basis.
